DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Overview
PMVPlay respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material and terminating accounts of repeat infringers.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and uploaded to PMVPlay in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information:
Required Information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: Provide the URL(s) or other specific location(s) where the allegedly infringing material is located on our Site.
- Your contact information: Include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- Accuracy statement: Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
- Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature.

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include:
Required Information for Counter-Notification:
- Your contact information: Full legal name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of removed material: Description and location of the content that was removed or disabled.
- Good faith statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
- Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the jurisdiction where PMVPlay is located if you are outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or their agent.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Our Response Process
- Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice: We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user who uploaded it.
- Upon receiving a valid counter-notification: We will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
- Repeat infringers: We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
6. False Claims
Warning: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notification or counter-notification may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees. Do not make false claims.
7. Non-Copyright Complaints
The DMCA process is specifically for copyright infringement claims. For other types of complaints (such as privacy concerns, defamation, or other content violations), please use our Contact Form and select the appropriate complaint category.
8. Processing Time
We aim to process valid DMCA takedown notices within 24-48 hours of receipt. Complex cases may take longer. You will receive a confirmation email once your notice has been processed.
